The Lava Gel®  that powers the shells is available in three formulas:

Home Use Blend – mild heat safe for home use.

 

Comfort Blend Medium Heat – moderate heat for targeted work and full body massage.

 

Comfort Blend High Heat – high heat for full body massage.

 

Comfort Blend Deep Heat – very high heat for a more intensive full body massage.

With so many products that are far removed from nature, Lava Shells® allow you the opportunity to interact with something that is raw, individual and natural.  Made from 100% authentic Tiger Striped Clam shells, each shell is hand-selected in the Philippine Islands for its unique size, shape and structural integrity.  The shells are personally matched by size, sanded and polished to reveal their natural luster, then bonded together to form a beautiful implement for massage therapy.  Being an organic product, Natural Lava Shells® will vary in size, shape, color and pattern.

Porcelain Lava Shells® are handcrafted using high quality porcelain and crushed shell powder. Each shell is hand painted, replicating the beautiful luster and appearance of natural Tiger Striped Clam shells. Porcelain Lava Shells® have been cast from the ideal ergonomic natural shell and are uniform in size and thickness for easy and consistent heat management.
